It works well on islander hair as per instructions you must use it at least twice a week or it will not be effective my partner had a horrible problem with dandruff and dry scalp and it builds up quickly this stuff has done wonders for his hair definitely a repurchase

General Information: Selsun Gold is a medically proven treatment for problem dandruff. For treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis, tinea versicolor, dandruff and as an adjunct in the treatment of tinea capitis Size:200mL Directions: 1. Scalp Treatment - Apply Selsun® Gold to wet hair, lather and leave on scalp for 3 minutes. Rinse. Repeat treatment then rinse thoroughly in running water.
