Coles Light Thickened Cream is a great lighter option — it still gives that creamy texture but isn’t as heavy, and I find it works really well in cooking or pouring over desserts without feeling too rich.

This Light Thickened Coles brand Cream has reduced fat, but is still creamy and delicious. I like that this cream thickens up easily when whipped, and is incredibly versatile: it's good on scones, baked in cheesecakes, in savoury sauces, and cakes. I also like that even though this is a high quality product, it is also incredibly affordable at just a few dollars per tub. I also love that this cream is made from milk from Australian raised dairy cows. A low fat, creamy, and versatile product. 5 stars!

The light thickened cream was smooth, creamy, and worked really well in both sweet and savoury dishes. It had a nice richness without feeling too heavy, making it a great option if you want something a bit lighter than regular thickened cream. It blended easily into sauces and whipped up nicely for desserts.

i’ve found this cream tastes almost if not the same as the regular thickened cream but has better calories and it’s still easy to use for whipped cream and in creamy recipes

Absolutely delicious! This was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The texture was just right and every bite was super satisfying. You can really tell quality ingredients were used, and it was seasoned beautifully without being overpowering. Definitely something I’d order again and happily recommend to anyone who loves good food.

This is wonderful cream. I like that it is a smaller size because it’s the perfect amount to use. When putting it into a dish. It also is a perfect amount. If you want to whip it and turn it into whipped cream the small container means that it is easy to use an easy to store personally I used this container to add it into my Marry me chicken and it taste delicious.

This Coles brand Light Thickened Cream has lower fat but full flavour. It thickens up quickly when whipped, or can be used in baking delicious things, like cheescakes. It is also excellent in soup. I also like that this cream is made from Australian milk, and that it is often for sale at a relatively affordable price in comparison to other brands. 5 stars!

Coles Light Thickened Cream is a lower-fat alternative that still thickens well for cooking, sauces, and light desserts. While it’s a healthier option, it doesn’t whip as easily and lacks the rich flavor and stability of full-fat cream, making it less ideal for high-heat recipes or indulgent dishes.

love having a creamy sauce with less calories! even if a recipe calls for 250mls, I add the whole container, otherwise that last 50mls goes to waste.

it’s in the name. light. thick and creamy. con is the lid. it can be a bit finicky and not really resealable (contents to be used on opening). I use this for carbonara pasta.

Easy to use, tasty cream. Coles branded but you wouldn’t know the difference, and the fact that it’s light cream meaning it’s a little healthier matters. I made my wife a creamy prawn pasta, and made a potatoe bake with ours. Both tasted great.

The Coles Light Cream was smooth and versatile, with a nice creamy texture without feeling too heavy. I found it whipped well for desserts and also blended easily into sauces and soups without splitting. The flavour is mild but still rich enough to give meals a nice touch of creaminess. Being a lighter option, it felt a bit healthier while still delivering good taste and consistency. Overall, it’s a reliable and affordable staple to keep in the fridge for both sweet and savoury recipes.

The cream is decent for everyday cooking, but it doesn’t whip up as well as regular thickened cream and lacks richness. It’s a lighter option, but the texture can feel a bit thin in sauces and desserts. Good for those watching fat intake, but not the best choice if you want full flavour and creaminess.

Coles Light Thickened Cream is a versatile and reliable option for those looking to add a touch of richness to their dishes without the full guilt. With a 25% fat content, it strikes a good balance between a creamy texture and a lighter profile. It works well in both sweet and savory applications, from dolloping on desserts to adding body to sauces and soups. Overall, Coles Light Thickened Cream is a solid choice for everyday cooking, offering a healthier alternative without sacrificing too much in terms of flavor and consistency.
