I recommend thickened cream, if you run out of butter you can make it from cream. You can add cream to your main dishes or desserts. We always keep a bottle in the fridge.

Perfect for all cream needs, whips up well (even if you want to make butter), great in cooking or simply as a side for desserts. I don’t find that more expensive creams are of better quality or offer anything that this particular thickened cream doesn’t. It’s a staple in our home and I usually always have a bottle in the fridge.
