We much prefer Hass avocados over the other varieties. Too bad that they are not in season now so we could only get these Shepard ones. We find these to be bland tasting and sometimes overly mushy. The only good thing about these is that they remain a lovely green colour for a long time and do not turn dark as easily as the Hass variety. We always incorporate avocados in our diet as much as we can, therefore we cannot wait for the other varieties to be back!
